Updated: Jul 16, 2022

Hello everyone!

My name is Aatmodhee Goswami, and this is the Muse of Music's blog! Everyone is allowed and welcome to post here as long as it's on-topic! Before I get into why this site exists and why there's a blog, let's go over the rules for the blog😀

Rule 1: Stay on topic please :)

Rule 2: No spamming please! If you need help with something please exercis

Rule 2: No racism, sexism, homophobia, etc etc. We respect everyone's beliefs and this is a welcoming community!

Rule 3: No NSFW without moderator permission. There's certain things that may be classified as NSFW but still relevant to the discussion, however this is more of an exception than a rule.

Now for the actual intro :

A long long time ago in a galaxy far far awa-wait a minute; scratch that.

Our journey begins the day of my arrival into this world: November 25, 2005 in a small hospital around Hyderabad as the only birth in that hospital for the day. From the day she was able to, my mom exposed me to as much music as can be done. The love of anything shares much to the layers of an onion. The love of music's layers are the experiences and people who helped mold and cultivate an appreciation and understanding of this immaculate art. Despite this vast repository of "flesh", an onion would be fundamentally flawed without a strong coagulation of said flesh at its core. For me, this core of music love was likely developed through my mom's efforts to ingrain the melodious tunes I listened to as a child.

Anyhow, the onion layers were built beyond the core through the incredible teachers and mentors I have had the privilege of interacting with.

This continuous and endless pursuit of art has been haunting me through my life, and like an unquenchable hunger forced me to seek knowledge to satisfy my desires. Unfortunately, my searches online often came to an end without much merit as there didn't seem to be nearly as much information about the mesmerizing art of Hindustani Classical as there is of other types of music. Hence, I created this website to establish a hub of knowledge through community and interaction! The more we spread ideals amongst each other, the richer our musical souls become, and the more we get to divulge in this infinite yet somehow human pursuit of music.

Excelsior!
